Meta Tag Optimization

Meta Tags Optimization services utilize techniques for optimizing your web page based on the Keyword Search conducted for a particular web site or a web page. Meta tags are information contained in the "HEAD" section of a web page. Some of the most commonly used tags are Title, Keyword and Description. Information contained only in the Title tag is seen by the visitor of that page.

In our Search Engine Optimization services process, this is one of the first things we take over after the Keyword Research step. Here are some general Meta Optimization techniques that you may use for optimizing your web page:

  • Include targeted keywords specific to a page
  • Do not shower your tags with keywords, use once only as much as possible
  • Do not use company names (unless you are a brand like COKE) -- If you have to use your company name, use it more towards the end.
  • Keep tags unique for each page.
